WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT
Hello and welcome! Thank you for considering me as your mental health provider. My name is Rob Walters, PhD and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in practice since 2009 and the owner of Psychological Assessment and Treatment Services.
I believe that a sound assessment will lead to sound treatment and that means understanding your area(s) of concern, guiding you in the treatment process, and in developing authentic relationships.
Your first appointment with me will include a conversation where we work together to understand your reason(s) for seeking services and then we formulate a
path for assessment and/or treatment.
In addition to Psychotherapy, I also offer Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessments for cognitive evaluation, advanced Psychological assessment, and for pre-employment reasons. For these services, a formal report is written after evaluation.
Due to COVID-19 I am offering Telehealth Services. If you have lost your job as a consequence of COVID-19 then please contact me for billing options.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
If you, or a family member, are concerned about cognitive impairment, I offer evaluation for Neurocognitive Disorder (dementia), recovery from stoke, traumatic brain injury, or other cognitive issues related to neurological impairment.
I offer Neuropsychological Assessments for adults only. For younger adults, I offer evaluation of ADHD, intellectual assessments, and learning disability (especially if there is concern about academics or employment) as well potential cognitive symptoms from traumatic brain injury or other neurological issue, among others.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND ADVANCED PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
I offer Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluations for law enforcement and other positions requiring a Psychological Evaluation. If you are in need of a Pre-Employment Psychological evaluation, work in law enforcement, or in the process of applying for a position that requires a mental health evaluation then contact me for more details.
For those already in treatment, there are times when more thorough evaluation and psychological testing is desired and I offer more lengthy Psychological Evaluations.
